Dr. Lonnita Cleary
Dr. Lonnita Cleary is the owner of Cleary Family Dentistry and is proud to provide compassionate, high-quality dental care to patients in Canton, Michigan, and the surrounding communities of Westland, Belleville, Ypsilanti, Plymouth, and Van Buren Township. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where every patient feels respected, heard, and treated like family.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Michigan-Flint before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Cleary then completed a General Practice Residency at the John D. Dingell Veterans Medical Center, where she received advanced training in comprehensive dental care and gained experience treating patients with a wide range of dental needs.
Dr. Cleary believes dentistry is about more than healthy teeth—it's about building lasting relationships, educating patients, and helping people feel confident in their smiles. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and create personalized treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique needs, goals, and budget.
Outside the office, Dr. Cleary enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, who they are proud to be raising in the Canton community.
